Every purchase has a social, economic, cultural, and environmental impact. Social procurement is about using your existing purchasing to capture those impacts to achieve overarching institutional, governmental, or individual goals that help shape inclusive, vibrant and healthy communities.
With the interest in social procurement increasing across Canada, many public buyers wonder how to implement it in their organizations. In this session, Buy Social Canada and Blakes will share information and answer questions on how public buyers can implement social procurement into all types of procurement processes, all while staying within the trade agreement obligations.
