Join us for OPBA Talks - BOBI Overview
Join Supply Ontario's Karen Sequeira, Change Management Lead, as she aims to provide an overview of the Building Ontario Businesses Initiative (BOBI), its key policy strategies, and planned timelines for implementation. If you have already attended a session, this is an excellent opportunity to learn more, ask any additional questions you may have, and participate in the conversation.
To enable BOBI, the Building Ontario Businesses Initiative Act (BOBIA) was introduced and received Royal Assent on March 2, 2022, and the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Directives have been updated to reflect BOBI, with an effective date for the OPS of September 1, 2023, and BPS of January 1, 2024.
Over the past few months, the Supply Ontario Stakeholder Management team has been meeting with Ministries, Agencies, the BPS associations and organizations, and the vendor community to share an overview of BOBI and help answer questions.
OPBA members are invited to attend this awareness session to learn more about BOBI and ask questions.
